Swimming in the Rain

Today, the girls and i decided to go the neighborhood pool after I mowed the grass. The pool cleaning guys were there so we had to wait a few hours. By the time, we were able to go back it started to rain, so we waited even longer. Finally, I went outside to see if it stopped raining, when Shelby said an amazing statement. 

Dad, if we go swimming we will get wet, so why can’t we go while it is raining? Won’t we already be wet?

I had to answer sure. It wasn’t thundering or lighting so I said WHY NOT. So for about and hour we swam in the rain. And guess what? The rain didn’t get us more wet… AMAZING huh
