One sweet word that makes everyone happy “vacation!”. After two days by ourselves, the grandparents brought us our 3 little girls to Galveston. So we would spend 3 more days having fun at the beach, eating way too much, and chasing crabs before sundown. I made a little video. check it out!
We had soooo much fun. On Wed. we went shopping and then to dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. it was Macey’s first time. The older girls enjoyed the meal, because they got the shiny, blinking, cool Rainforest drink glasses. That evening we hunted for crabs on the beach as Macey took her first steps into ocean water.
Thursday, was day at the beach. After breakfast and preparations, we headed off to Stewart Beach. We spent the rest of the day there. The girls loved the waves, as Macey continued to run toward the water without us. She is not afraid at all. Shelby built the first sand castle as I built the second for Audrey while she played. It was a beautiful day, totally sunny and absolutely no rain. 3 hours later and 3 sunburns, we left back home for the hotel.
Friday, we spent the whole day at Moody Gardens. Lucky for us this was the day that it rained the whole time. Macey slept some of the time until we went into the Titanic exhibit. Shelby, from elementary school, brought home a reader about the Titanic. So this was very interesting to her since she already read about it. We also visited the aquarium and the saw a RIDE FILM about dolphins.
We are home now and I am posting all this online.
